This temple was built on top of Khao Rang Raeng, and was bounded by
demarcation walls of laterite blocks. Important features of this temple are a main
chedi, a rectangular vihara, and an uposatha, all of laterite blocks. It should be
noted that the name Wat Khao Rang Raeng also appeared in the Pongsawadarn
Nua, or the Northern Historic Chronicle.
