This temple was built on a hill in the same mountain range as Khao
Suwankhiri and Khao Phanom Phloeng, and is located west of Si Satchanalai town.
The important historic constructions of this temple include a mandapa
built from laterite blocks and plastered with lime and a vihara. The roofs of these
buildings were once covered with green glazed ceramic tiles, as suggested by the
presence of tile fragments all over the temple. Fragments of the green glazed
ceramic tiles were also found in the plain around the northern foot of this hill. This
suggests the presence of meditation houses of this temple in the foothills.
