Important historic structures in this temple include the main Sri Lankan
style chedi made of laterite, and the foundation of a viha~ra with 10 laterite
roof-supporting posts. The buildings were bounded by demarcation walls made from laterite blocks.
Just to the south of Wat Chedi Chet Thaew, this temple contains what was originally a sizeable hall. The temple is also known as Wat Kao Hong or 'Nine Rooms Temple'.
